I have been painting only chihuahuas for over 10 years. I’m now at over 2,500! 👩🎨🎨🐶
Why chihuahuas? Because when I see a chihuahua, my heart melts and my smile gets bigger. I feel a very special kind of joy with them that I can’t really feel with other dogs, even though I love them too 🥰
I paint to share this intense joy and bring some comfort to people through my paintings. I hope they can make people smile or feel a little better when they see them ✨
I began watercolor painting in 2013 at the age of 29, as a self-taught artist, then ventured into acrylic painting in 2018. Since then, I’ve explored linocut, cyanotype, and papier-mâché, among other techniques… Having a favorite subject really unleashes creativity! And I never waste time wondering what I’ll paint next 😉
I work based on my inspiration or on commission. My little chihuahua paintings are spread around the world, with Japan and the United States currently being the top destinations 🖼️✈️
